Hi,
There are many applications on Test machine which send test data to various servers on regular hourly basis.Servers are ftp/webserver/SOAP etc.Which network monitoring tool should be used to track the network related information? for example,at a particular time , this tool will display receivers's IP address, which port did specific application sent a data etc.In short network monitoring tool?
I know its a job of sys admin but now I am suppsoed to do that.

Thanks. I installed "Passler" similar tool. Now the requirement is to monitor every TCP/IP packet.Ultimately, every packet with data has to be stored and shoul be retrived whenevr receiving application says that they did not receive the data.
Is this possible?

Arjun,
Not sure but it looks like you are looking for non-repudiation. It will be easy if you use digital signatures.
Aryan.
