Although the test center guys did show me that I had passed but they cud not give me the result/ breakup.(I was very well prepared so had no doubt about passing the exam) Now they are saying that it will take almost a week to actually get my results from Sun (as if they are truly going to get it from the planet SUN). This wait is truly coming to my nerves . I read that you can give me the mail address of the right person to contact in this regards. pl. help. p.s. Any body having Liz's mail address pl forward this msg. urgently

Hi Raj, Check the site www.galton.com/~sun scores are usually available there within a few days. You will need the ID you used at the testing site to logon and check your score. Or, if you're concerned, send Sun an e-mail (there's a feedback link on the site) and ask for direct confirmation. Hope that helps. ------------------ Jane Griscti Sun Certified Programmer for the Java 2 Platform
Thanks Gagan and Jane, The center people did call up Delhi (main office of Sylvan) but the guys cudn't help much as they say the site report is sent directly to SUN's server nad any info can be had from them only which will take time. Can't help it I have to go thro' this harrowing experience. This surely puts a big question mark on the quality of program that the SUN people have developed( I understand that it is developed in JAVA). The way I am getting feedback from other scjps that they too had similar probs., I surely feel that somebody representing all of us from javaranch must contact the SUN people and get such glitches removed. If they can't do it then surely we at javaranch have expertise available to help them out with this. One more thing I wanted to know about the error that I faced: "Response Logon Format error". Is this regarding the last feedback part that they take from us, because in my case I didn't get any such feedback response window at the end of the test. I am also sending a mail to Liz to help me out. Thanks again Rajesh Shah
Hi Raj, That sounds irritating. I don't really know where to tell you to get your score breakout...my experience (and the contact I have had with Prometric) was a complaint about the testing center, but I did not have trouble getting my scores. I think Jane's advice is probably the best. I would wait a couple of days and then go www.galton.com/~sun to see your score. If you're needing the score breakout, I guess I would try contacting both Prometric and Sun and see which would be able to give you that information. You can the appropriate Prometric contact for your region off this page. And I imagine you can find an address to contact Sun on the Suned site. Hope that helps! --liz

Hi Liz, Thanks for your advice. I'll contact both the agencies and let all of you know the outcome. Thanks again, Rajesh shah
Hi Raj, This is what I found on Sun's my certification link. It says - "Test updates are received 4 business days after a test is taken. If you do not see one of your tests 4 business days after you have complete it, please notify customer service by completing a help request." URL - http://www.galton.com/~sun/ I hope by now they do have your score in this database. Did you manage to get it from your prometric guys? If not, try to get it from this place. Let us know .. Regards, - Manish
