Dear all
first of all I would like to thank javaranch people for the great job they are doing over here.
I've jus made the SCWCD exam, and scored 79%, the exam, is not difficult, and I believe any one can make it, if he study hard for that.
I started working for the certificate on the 24th of Jun, I had almost no experience with Java Web Technologies, my study material was:
1. coreservlets and java server pages.
2. more servlets and java server pages.
3. Sybex Study Guide for SCWCD
4. Sun Specs.
I found javaranch very useful, in addition i made the following free mocks on the web
1.javaranch mock exam
2.www.withmilk.com/scwcd ( another good mock )
3.www.jdiscuss.com ( it has four mock exams too )
The sybex study guide is pretty good, and focusing on every topic of the exam, although it has some mistakes and errors, but it is not really confusing to the reader.
wish you all the best
and good luck in your study and exams.
