Hi all,
Do to the answers I received, I had to censor myself. So I changed this post.
That's why the 2 posts below (Tracy / Don) could seem weird.. They were an answer to my former message.
So, I want to encourage everybody to take the
SCJP. It's great, you learn a lot, and I'm sure it will be very useful in your life.
I also want to thank Ersin Eser who sent me the CRAM book last year.
And of course, the whole Javaranch family.... Its really a great (I mean GREAT) website
Part 2 : For those who still want to have some feedback about the real Sun exam, here you are ...
1) I had a lot of IO question (between 5 and 7)
This is one of the objectives I underestimated.
2) I had a lot of questions about threads (5-7 maybe more)
3) The time is really not a problem. It took me 1h 15 instead of 2.
4) The mock exams from Marcus Green are really valuable, and the level of difficulty is close from the real one.
5) I had 3 or 4 questions about AWT, which is a lot for a
J2EE developer like me who has never programmed an
applet 6) and also a lot of question about inner classes.. Hey, who really use Inner classes in real life ?
7) and a lot of question about for.. loops and switch case
Disclaimer : As english is not my native language, please forgive me if my post is unclear, and please keep in mind I DO NOT want to offense anyone.
Tracy : I assure I have programmed a lot, but you see, Inner Classes are not really used in EJBs.
Don : Please forgive my ignorance. But I swear I'll try to keep learning....
Is it better now ?
