I have passed Java 2 Programmer Certification this morning (81%).
I have prepared for the exam using the following books
The Java Language Specification Second Edition
James Gosling, Bill Joy, Guy Steele, and Gilad Bracha [ This is an awesome resource ... look through all of the example codes ... it will give you a lot of confidence on Java Language. ]
The Complete Java 2 Certification Study Guide by Roberts, Heller and Ernest. [ Everthing you need is in here ... just have to be patient and with a lot of disciplines ie. learn and understand everything in this book. ]
I have also used
Marcus Green's Java Programmer Certification Mock Exam No 1, 2 and 3. [ These are the best mock exams ... the exams will teach you to be super careful when you are actually taking the exam. ]
