Hi Ranchers,
A few days back we heard from Alfred to watch out for gc....and again I ask u all to concentrate on it a lot more.
I gave my exam today and got just 66% in gc.
Overall 93%(not to bad)
I wud say gc questions were very typical & it will be good if mock exams makers can make some more good questions on gc. !

Also someone had sent me a good pdf document "A Concentrated Guide To Sun Certified Programmer for Java 2 by Ashraf Fouad Ayoub ", that helped me a lot for my last 2-3 days revision. I will try to upload it on my site & give you a link. But if someone wants it urgently, I can send him thru mail.
Thanks to everybody here!! I wudn't have got such a score without Javaranch.
Cheers to JavaRanch & Thanks to all!!!
I had 3 yrs of experience in C++ & Oracle technologies and I never thought just 2-2 1/2 months are enuf to learn and understand Java.
A white snowy christmas in Scotland will be a perfect break after 2 months of hot Java...So see u all after a week.
Enjoy the festive season...

Thanks everybody for ur wishes !
A special thanks goes to Dan, whose exams forced me to study JLS of which I was reluctant
Dan, your exams really made me understand Java & today I am not just satisfied because I passed the exam, but I feel that yessss I know Java from the basics.
This has made my Java foundation strong & I think now I can move towards J2EE.
Thanks to all who have answered my questions. And also thanks to all who have posted questions on this form & made me answer the questions. I think the best way to learn something is to read urself & tell it to others. I have learnt a lot from Javaranch & I 'll try to be regular on this site.
Thanks szh for the URL of that doc, I'll not have to upload it again.
Once again THANKS A LOT TO ALL !!!
