Hi,
I have cleared the examination securing same marks as I got in SCJP2
and would like to thank Javaranch as it really helped.
I have 2 years of experience in Java so that did helped.
Regarding preparation, I guess Manning book is more then sufficient for exam. I referred this book "only", as the book covers all the methods you need to know for the exam.
I gave all the 3 JWebPlus test, were really helpful.
Thanks
- Varun

Congratulations, Varun! Please do post your scores on SCWCD Scores page. This will help others to judge their preparation level.

Hi varun,
You said you had 2 years experiance in Java. Was this on Core Java or JSPs and Servlets ? I was wondering if one needs to have a lot of real time experiance to take up this exam.

Harry,
The 2 yrs of experience in jsp/servlets did helped, but ONLY psychologically !!!
Experience may help, but only in 2-3 questions where in case you are stucked .. you may use elimination technique !!!
But I don't think you need experience (even if u aiming for 100%)
Cheers !!!
