I gave myself only a month to study and although the book I used was great learning material, it did lack a few topics that I was taken by surprise on mock exams and on the real one.
The used only Complete Java2 certification 1.4, which contained preps for SCJP and the SCJD.
The book contained mock exams that were easy.
I could have done alot if:
DIdn't depend soley on 1 book material
Started taking mock exams way earlier.
Used practice exam from various but reliabel sources.
What severely hindered me on the exam were the trick questions. I thought there was a lot of them. It would be prudent for those who is going to take the exam to calm down and DON"T Rush.
Although its multiple choice, review every question with scrutiny, even the easy ones.
That's all for now.
Wish me luck as I am studying for the SCWCD exam.
