I got to tell you all, I am still gasping for air !!! I just got an %80 for SCJP 1.4 exam, I was expecting %60. I was getting around %70 (Marcus GreeN) and got %67 from the K&B Master Exam. Well the reason was I have been extremely depressed the last couple of years (unemployed, got dumped, lost my car in an accident, overweight, single, and broke). I have not had the apetite to study, I also have BS in Business and currently completing a Masters in C.I.S. Anyways I have not studying affectively , and also lacked the experience.
That is my story, about the exam and my prep. The exam was harder than I expected it. %60 of the questions contained relational operators even when they were not testing you different concepts (like arrays, or threads). So know your operatrs really good ( I am not kidding , same goes for increment and decrement ops). By the way, there were some questions that were exactly the same as the K&B Master Exam so pay attention. To get %100 on thread qs do Dan's thread questions. My thanks goes to the usual suspects K&B ( I am a University of Denver student, Kathy and Bert I would like to visit WickedlySmart HQ and buy you guys drinks whenever I am invited up to Boulder (you saved my life)), Dan excellent and challenging questions !!, Anupam thanks clarifiying the operator question I posted a while ( maybe that's why I got a %80 instead of %65), Marcus Green great Mock exams, and finally all the people in the ranch.
School starts in September so I am going to focus on SCWCD on my christmas break ( Advance copy of Head First SCWCD woul help )
Final words: I guess, I have a damn good reason to be happy from now on
