Hi all I just want to tell you all how relieved i was when i saw my pass results of 75%. I started to learn the Java programming language about 10 months ago,on my own and of course with the help of you guys of the javaranch forum.I had no prior programming experience the resources i got was mostly on the internet. Dan's mock exam's was kind of my personal tutor and i want to thank him for his excellent mock exams, i learned a lot through his topic exams. All i can say for aspirant candidates is to master and under stand the various topics and if you don't understand something do some coding and let the compiler help you understand. Do a lot of coding. It is the best way to learn. If you still don't understand go to this forum and let the experience guys help you. About the exam it was somewhat tricky, but if you know your stuff you will not have any problems. Pay special attention to gc and threads. If you see any difficult questions mark it and answer the easy ones first. You will have more than enough time to answer the difficult questions, it worked for me. Now that i passed what is the best way forward. Good luck. Cheers Cornel [ August 07, 2003: Message edited by: corn jewel ]
