i took the exam friday afternoon and passed with 94%, thanks in large part to javaranch.com. the SCWCD links and mock exams were a great help. i used only one book, the one by Sybex, but i can't really recommend it b/c of all the errors in the text and exams. use the
Servlet and
JSP specs and write lots of servlets, jsp, and custom tags and you'll do fine. the one thing i'd recommend is to memorize the web-app DTD. anyway, thanks for this great site!
