I am very glad that i was able to make up this score.The Certification guide by Kathy helped me a lot to get through the basics inspite of me new to this ocean of java.Also i studied some portions of Khalid Mughal,which was too good.One thing that i feel is practice by writing code,that will help you to get through in what concepts you are week.Also take up more mock exams that will help you to manage your time during the finals.Really had excellent time preparing for SCJP,itz amazing to explore Java.

Thanks for ur Wishes.Regarding Collections see to the SCJP 1.4 objectives,in that they have clearly specified what should you know about collections.Its sort of finding which collection to use under a given scenario.See to Kathy&Bates Cetification Guide for Collections.That will do.

I am a kind of entirely new person to Java,except that i had some knowledge about Object Oriented Programming.Right from this position it took me 2 months time to make an attempt for SCJP.One thing that i was gifted with was i had a group studying with me, so we people used to discuss our doubts.Group study worked out well.Initially we were not aware of this discussion forum,this is too a sort of group study,which is awesomely helpful.Regarding per days input, i used to spare 4-5 solid hours.It took me a month to get through the reading stuff,then i started attending mock exams,along with revising what i learnt.Thatz the path i came across while i headed towards SCJP.
