Hi folks,

I'm just curious; does anyone know (or have a feel for):

a) How many SCJDs there are? I'd be particularly interested to know how many there are in the UK. And even how many as a percentage of the total number of Java professionals. Has Sun done any research on this?
b) Has anyone got the perfect 400 score?
c) When did the maximum score change from 155 to 400?

Cheers

Jules

Julian -

Stats aren't published for the certifications. I sent a question into Sun regarding this a while back - ]here is a URL related to their response.

At least one person has - see George's results

I don't know the exact date, but my guess is sometime in spring 2003. The SCJD FAQ page gives some information about the different assignments, but doesn't specifically list when the new assignment came out.

The assignments which were released around March 2003 are marked out of 400.

However if you are still doing the Fly By Night Services assignment, then when you submit it, you will still be marked out of 155.
