Hi All,

Passed SCJP
I referred to the Kathy and Bert's Book (Its a fabulous book). Read some Mocks and ran plenty of code from those mocks.

Thanks to the javaranch community who made feel that i am not alone in this "journey".

Thanks Jay.

I read the Kathy and Bert's book once thoroughly (i enjoyed thoroughly as well) While READING (not taking) the mock exam codes i went through the book (some chapters) again to clarify the concepts that were weak. I felt that reading the answers without seriously studying the mock questions let me cover many many of them (from the links given at javaranch).

I kept experimenting with plenty of code from the mocks.

During the exam i kept the pace pretty slow, pondering over each question, marking the doubtful ones. At the end i only got time to revise the marked questions. So i have to be faster i guess.

Strings, GC, Threads and Exceptions are the topics that can be tricky. But the exam is not too tough as compared to the questions in K&B.

Good Luck.

Thanks a lot Bert.

It would have been very difficult without the K&B book and javaranch.
Please accept my sincere regards.
