Will I get notice from Sun on SCJP?

I recently passed and received a certified copy of my test results at the test center but am wondering if I will get any other notification from Sun. For example, I am stufying for the SCWCD certification and passing SCJP is a prerequisite. Is Sun notified that I passed the SCJP? Do they need to know that before I am allowed to take the SCWCD exam? Can I register for the SCWCD exam?

Thanks,

Jerry Bustamente

Congratulations, Jerry!

but am wondering if I will get any other notification from Sun.

A certification kit including a certificate will be sent to you within a month. See
Sun Certification FAQ for details.

You can go ahead to register for SCWCD (if you're ready) before the certification kit arrives.

For example, I am stufying for the SCWCD certification and passing SCJP is a prerequisite. Is Sun notified that I passed the SCJP? Do they need to know that before I am allowed to take the SCWCD exam?

Sun has your record in its database so you don't have to inform them anything. Have you tried logging into CertManager and "Assignment Watcher" databases (see the Sun Ceritification FAQ) to see your records?

Can I register for the SCWCD exam?

Yes. Good luck for your next exam.
