Am planning to takeup SCJP 1.4. what is the optimal time requierd for preparation?? I am referring "Sun Certified Programmer & Developer for Java 2 Study Guide" book. Is it enough??

Thanks a lot Abhi. Well ...
first: i recommend you to study from "Sun Certified Programmer & Developer for Java 2 Study Guide" book written by Kathy Siera and not any other book ,if you do then it will be enough.
second: optimal time depends on person capabilities .. for me i do not remember exactly but the time it tooks from me is between 50 - 60 study hour including solving questions and exams.
