Just passed the SCBCD exam with 88%. Thanks to ranchers for their help.
I had both Head First
EJB book and the SCBCD Exam Study Kit by Paul Sanghera in my book shelf. But 99.9% of the time, I read Sanghera's book. I think it is much easier to read and more "to the point" than Head First EJB book (given that you know the basics of EJBs). HFEJB might teach you more in the long run, but for the certification Sanghera's is a strong competitor.
Whizlabs
test simulator was quite helpful. Bit frustrating that the simulator does not show the number of correct answers. The test questions are mostly of good quality, except the final test that sucks big time. They have several "too-complicated" drag and drop questions that do not reflect the complexity of the actual exam. I think the quality of their test simulator was much better (fewer bugs) some months ago, before they released their new test software. Anyway it is still a good investment, if you are looking to save some time.
