Got the cert under my belt, although it is the 1.4 and not 5.0. I'll tackle the 5.0 on a later date.

My previous attempts at 5.0

If you go to the above link you can see how I went about studying. I actually prepared for the 1.5 but after failing it twice I took the 1.4 and passed it. I only spent about 3 hours studying the 1.4 material after I spent about 150 hours studying the 1.5 material.

Yeah it seems you really work hard towards the certification and finally you did it. I wish you a very best of luck for the next SCJP 5.0. many congratulations. I am almost done with preparation and mocks, just killing hours, can't wait to hit the bell. so it just that ready to write.

Congratulations, Justice. By the way, could you share your experiences about how you studied, & what papers you've had to clear (for e.g., SL-275, etc), since I am a complete newcomer & am totally ignorant about the exam scenario ??
