Hello All,

Yesterday I cleared SCWCD with 92%.Thanks to Kathy,Bert and Bryan for their wonderfull book, that even a beginner can do it. Thanks to javaranch and Mr kushal for clearing my doubts.and a special thanks to My husband for helping me to acheive it.

My Preparation
1.Head first Servlets and Jsp.
2.Whizlabs
3.professional JSp - Simon Brown (for custom tags and Jsp examples)
4.Marc Peabody's design pattern notes and Fredrick notes.
5.last minute reference of jsp spec and jstl spec.

Some tips for what to watch for.

1)Apart from Jsp and El implicit object, you need to know what are the implicit objects available in Tag files too.
2)You need to think from a bigger picture,if servltes, listeners and filter is involed ,what will happen ,which will be loaded and initialized first.

well, Overall the exam was easier,I have just 4-5 months of exposure to java technology. So beginners no need to worry, you can go for it!!
with just Hfsj you can clear the exam.Only 25% of the questions was tough and little trickier.

I took exactly one month and 4 days. At first i hated to read spec, but after finishing the book,i just glanced it ,wanted to read more, but there was no time.Anyway i'm happy with what i got.Next is Struts and EJB.

regards
Kalpana.
