Hi Java Ranch Users,

I'm happy to clear SCDJWS with 86%. I'm very thankful to the chaps who actively involved in posting and respoding to the certification related posts.

I'm also thankful to Mikalai Zaikin and Whizlabs.

Below is the list of study materials I followed.

1. RMH (The book is excellent except few typos though covered most in http://www.monson-haefel.com/jws_errata.html).
2. Watsh Rajneesh PDF (very good for quick review).
3. J2EE Blueprints - Only Security.
4. MZ guide.

And Mock exams,
1. X Y Z W S
2. MZ Quiz
3. Whizlabs SCDJWS full version
4. Other mock exams appeared in the forum posts.

Actually, I think I could have done even better in the exam. I was confident on XML Schemas, SOAP and WSDL. But, sceptical in getting good score in Security, General Design and Endpoint Architecture. But the result was I got 100% in the later but 60-70% in the former though I thought I answered correctly. Also, sticking to the scheduled date of exam and lack of enough time made me not to utilize whizlabs and MZ's mock exams completely. So, I suggest the aspirants to have minimum of 5 days dedication to take the mock exams.

Thanks to Javaranch without which I might not have achieved this.

Kind Regards,
Naren

Thank you all.

Oops! I missed to thank Watsh Rajneesh. His writeup was really useful.

For most of the study links, you may navigate from here.
