Friends,
After mastering Java it will be very easy to learn C# and I would like to get a C# certification. I have seen some member signatures have this cert. Can someone please share their experience with this exam and some additional links/books to study for the exam.
Thank you kindly,
Rodge

Hi Syed,
Thanks for all the wonderful postings on C# exam. I am primarily a Java developer trying to venture into the MS world. I would like to get MCAD certification (eventually). Can you please guide me as to what is the best order to take these exams? I see that u have taken the 70-316 first. Is there any particular reason for that? (I have more web experience than win-GUI development).
How does 70-315 compare with 70-316 in terms of difficulty?
I am very new to .NET and also there are common topics among these exams. I am confused as to whats the best way to attack these exams.
Also please let me know the study plan you followed.
Thanks,
Anant

I think you should go for 70-316 first because it make your C# basics strong. How ever I don't mean code base basic like we do in java like loops and checks and this one is tough one also as compared to ASP.NET which is very easy in fact one can pass both papers on same day but the third core exam 70-320 is the most difficult one according to my rating because it is really wher you create components for Server Side as well as client side. The common topics are following but they are always in different context in accordance with paper
ADO.NET
Security
Assemblies

Seems like this exam requires quite a bit of time to study for -- it seems to be very different from SCJP by not just asking about syntax mostly.

I guess I've been abducted by space aliens. So unprofessional. They tried to probe me with this tiny ad:
