The score appeared to be almost the same as for 484 The exam is also similar to 484 except for some WS-specific stuff.
I prepared with Kushner's book, but think one can use any other good websphere book for this. There are advanced questions about Datasources and connection pooling in the test, so you should understand this very well! This topic is not detailed enough in the Kushner's book.
I didn't have any WSAD experience before so it was quite interesting to play with it Good tool when developing for WS, but a little slow on my machine
486 is the last mile before Enterprise Developer.

Congratulations Serge,
As you say, there are other WebSphere books around, but you would need to read several in order to gather all the information needed. Also, as I state in the preface, knowledge of the specifications in combination with real world experience is an absolute necessity as well as the ability to analyze complex situations and apply sound judgement based on your knowledge. The IBM Certified Enterprise Developer is an advanced role and not all who attempt it will succeed.
Best of luck as you continue to tackle the remaining tests.
Regards,

Thanks, Howard!
Many thanks for your book and for the answers in this forum
If you would ever prepare a new edition of the book, please consider adding a sample test. It would help a lot as long as no free mock exams for 287 are available on the Internet.

congrats Serge for what I consider a good score for this dificult exam.
Good luck for your final 486. I think, it might be a little bit easier than 484 and 287. My advice is: Larman-book is most important.
am still struggling in my 484, 287 prep.

Hi, Axel,
good luck to you as well!
In 287 I was given a bit tricky question about CMR, where aggregation and composition were among the options. Would have been sure about it after 486

Don't get me started about those stupid light bulbs.
