IBM 484

Hi all,
Iam preparing for IBM484 test.I read SCWD studykit and HeadfirstEJB and the turorial link provided for JMS,JDBC,JAXP,JCA,JAAS etc.Is this sufficient or I have to read more.Iam in confusion what all I have to read for all sections.Can any one who is preparing or whao has taken test already provide your views what materials should we read for each section.If you do this once I think It will be helpful for every one.From one on the previous post I got some info:

For Section 1, I have referred to 2 books:
1. SCWCD Exam Study Kit, Chapter 17
2. Core J2EE patterns

For Section 5, I totally gave up, cos it required me to spend much time on various technologes, such as JDBC, JAXP, JMS, JCA, etc. Thus I just try my best to work with it using my *existing* experiences, like JDBC and JMS. Of course, you can read the tutorials, as IBM recommended, from SUN's website.
For Section 6, I read:
1. SCWCD Exam Study Kit, chapter 5
2. Head First EJB, chapter 12

can someone give the info for other sections also

I think IBM484 objectives cover J2EE design patterns and not GO4 design Patterns...

I am writing the exam on 14th. I am mainly referring, HF EJB and Designing Enterprise Applications with the J2EETM Platform, Second Edition

You should also try testing your skills with whizlabs exam simulator for IBM 484(launced on Mar 5th)

484 exam does require you to know GoF patterns and their application in J2EE architecture. At least, the most important ones.

I think that you have covered more stuff than required.
I too am preparing for the same I have to give it either by this weekend or by the next weekend. Currently I am working on J2EE Connector Architect Tutorial by IBM. I also have read through filters since I didnt have much information filters since it wasnt included in SCWCD exam.

hi guys,
I have another question for you.
are there any mocks other than IBM and whizlabs.I feel whizlab exam is expensive.
Is the IBM mock exam the one that people have given answers in this particular link link or do we have another one.

In fact, there are only limited resources for IBM exams.
Seems Whizlabs and IBM ICE are the only mock exams in the market for ICED.
