Hi John,
I didn't take the test, planning it for future.
Have you seen IBM Websphere Portal Primer book by MC Press? Or do you prepare with the Redbooks?

The Portal Primer book is for version 4 (if it is the same one as I have got). It's quite good if you are new to Portal but doesn't have enough depth for the exams.
The rebooks are much more up to date - 'Websphere Portal for Multiplatforms v5 Handbook' is the best - along with the InfoCenter.
I might sit the practice test this weekend to see how close I am ! There is a free test voucher for the first 100 - I wonder how many are left ??

Has anyone compiled a list of questions from IBM's prime exam for

IBM Certified System Administrator - WebSphere Portal V5.0
Test 347, IBM WebSphere Portal V5.0, Deployment and Administration

And

IBM Certified Solution Developer - WebSphere Portal V5.0
