1. Could one or two people who have taken the OMG's UML Fundamentals exam please give me a better idea of the questions I'm likely to encounter?

What would be most useful would be a few sample questions.

I've read and understood the sections of Fowler's book covering the same diagrams as those on the exam. But the consensus on this board seems to be that there is a big difference between the real-world use of UML (which is what Fowler presents) and memorizing the standard. I've started working on the standard and find it rather dry and abstract. I'd like to know how much of the detail I need to memorize.

2. Several posts here recommend UML Toolkit (Eriksson) for exam preparation.

a) How would you use this book to prepare? As a substitute for memorizing the standard? As a supplement to it?

b) Is that book more useful or less useful -- again from the narrow perspective of preparing for the OMG exam -- than the UML Bible (Pender)?

3. Any other suggestions for study approaches and/or materials?

I am really interested on hearing comments from other people on this exam also. I am planning on taking the SCEA soon, but since a core part of it is communicating in the UML I figured I might as well get the OMG certification too.

OMG's site is not very helpful at all about the certification. Can anyone shed some light on the exam?
