The new artichect certificate is undergoing beta testing. The beta test was a first come, first served allocation of tests to 200 testees. The beta exam will consist of 150 questions with a time limit of 3 hours. The testees have until the 21 April 2000 to complete the beta cert and should be notified within four weeks of completion if they scored enough to go on to the assignment part of the cert which as I understand it will be a written exam based on an case study. Even though the objectives concentrate on EJB technology, the objectives cover a lot of material and this exam is really going to be for the professional developer.
