Security was one of my weakest topic. But too get confident i read too many stuff for security and i am glad that it helped and i got 100% in that.
For that i read
- 3COM Whitepaper for Firewall.
- Sun Applet FAQ
- Sun Java Security Architecture
- Javaworld Secuirty Architecture Article ( Link is somewhere in old post, posted by Vivek )
- Make sure that u r clear about how Certificate works with Sign Jar files.
For internationalization i got 50%. I read John's note. I think i missed more detail about some classes. You need to read about what classes does what. e.g use of java.text package, use of Locale...etc.

I did read Java World article related to JMS but John's note is enough for JMS. Basically u need to be clear about synchronous, asynch.., ptp and publisher/subscriber messaging.

For the people who are not sure about how classloader works. They should read

Can you tell me what you r preparing for Part II?. Whats best way to approach?. I am planning to download my assignment but I am not that good in Design and I am not sure where to start.

I am really not good in Design. So to make my basics clear I am using "Applying UML and Patterns" by Craig Larman. I started reading it and It seems this is good book.
And I read all old posts and people are suggesting that Pet Store sample is good to review. So I am planning to do that too. But whoever passed PartII will be better source for the answer.
Does anyone wanna suggest best way to approach part II?.

I read everything. But I think if u don't have more time then atleast read ClassLoader. That concept will be helpful in some security questions.

Congrats for passing out with such a good score... I have just registered for the Architect Exam part I... Can u please tell me how long did it take u to prepare for the exam... Can u give some useful tips....What are the books u reffered to...
Pls do suggest where did u refer for 'Common Architectures'... again I have to practise EJB at home... So can u please tell me the environment settings u had worked on.... I have downloaded j2sdk 1.3 and downloading the evaluation copy of JRUN 3.1 it's j2EE compatible.... can u tell me what else do I need for that...
Also can u tell me what did u refer for the 'Legacy Connectivity'

Vidya,
I read common architecture and legacy connectivity from John's note and some other material but John's note is enough. For preparation I took on average 2 hours per day for 1 month.
I did some work on EJB at home but I don't think its required for Part I.

I read first 4 chapter of Orielly and I read Some other material from Sun's site. I also read John's note for EJB.
Orielly book is enough but please give full attention in understanding Container work.
Questions were really tricky, If you read John's note and First 4 chapter for Orielly than that should be enough.
