I just passed part 1 with 85% yesterday. Thanks for eveybody of this forum. I got a lot of useful information to prepare for part 1.
As other people said, this exam is very easy, especially for the concept, design pattern, i18n and messaging. I didn't touch the G of F book, only read the notes for design pattern and messaging part.
The tricky parts of this exam are: common architecture, legacy and protocol. I lost 6 questions for them.
For EJB, I read Mastering EJB.
I didn't take the mockup tests except the one Sridhar posted just before the exam. Since I enjoy reading more articles in limited time.
I felt that information overloading for the part 1: a lot of links, notes, mockup... So I list what I read for the part 1 on my web site:
http://www.bm-one.com/Se/scea.html
Hope it can save people's time to filter the information.

Good luck to poeple preparing for the exam and have fun reading.

Bruce

Thanks for the congrats. I just passed IBM 483 with 77% two hours ago, it is more difficult than scea-I. I spent these two days reviewing EJB, JSP API.
Now ready for scea-II now.
