I passed PartI yesterday in Sydney with 79%.

As you can see that the score is not high, but I am satisfied with that. I got almost 10 questions about Legacy connectivity and only about 5 questions about EJB. None of the question is about API. Some questions were very long and even came with 7 multiple choices. Most of the questions were about scenarios. Since English is not my mother language, 75 minutes was a little bit tight. I did not have enough time to go through all questions after I finished.

I guess the the Sun system is smart enough to give you another question for the same category if you answered a question wrong. This is the only way to explain 10 Legacy connectivity questions. Anyway, this is a guess.
I found that all documents from Yahoo groups are very useful. I don't think mock exams will help, since some answers are wrong.
Good luck for all those preparing Part I.

Congrats Buddy !!!
BUt here I find an interesting fact tht u got 10 ques on legacy systems
From different postings, I found tht
Concepts 6
Common Architecture 6
Legacy Connectivity 5
EJB 9
EJB Container 4
Protocol 3
J2EE Applicability 3
Patterns 5
Messaging 3
I18N 2 (Internationalization)
Security 2
So now I guess tht there is no fixed number of questions on each objective.
Sandeep.

I don't think there is a clear border between each objective. Instead, some questions covered more than one objectives. For example, Legacy system with security issure.
Cheers

Some questions I got mentioned legacy systems in their description, however they were really about something else like messaging, EJB or applicability of J2EE...
