I bought the voucher last year for SCEA Part I. But I am not sure now if I should take the exam. Since if I take it now, I may need to take it again for the new version later this year or next year. The worse is, I have to take the exams every 2 years after centified. I think there are some problems with this kind of policy. My concern is, will they expire my SCWCD and SCJP2 certificates I got a few years ago and last year? It is not a good idea to spend too much time to maintain those certificates.

Hello There, Don't you think it's a good thing to do... CISSP Exam is good for 3 years. So if you hire someone with that certification you are sure that his knowledge is up to date. It is so easy to read a book and take a exam. I think we will not have to repass the Programmer exam... the core java doesn't changes.

your voucher will be expired in 1 year, and i don't think you can use it for the new version even it comes out before the expiration date.
