Not sure if I understand your question correctly.
SCEA has just one assignment. You will be given requirements in text format.

Thanks.

In addition, I would like to ask, could I now purchase the assignment, but I am not going to start it?

It is because I wanna (or waiting) to take SCEA part I beta, and then start part II.

However, as SUN currently gives out 50% off discount offer, that's why I wanna purchase the assignment 1st.

Thanks.

Nick, I just tried to get my company to buy parts I and II together (being lazy - it saves me having to put in two purchase requests ). However, I just received an email from Prometric saying that I couldn't buy part II yet because I hadn't completed part I, so I don't think your plan is going to work either.

Ben.

Yup. You are required to have passed Part I in order to even buy Part II. Previously when Sun used to sell vouchers by themselves, you were allowed to buy all the three parts in one shot, but schedule them with Prometric when you met the requirements. But I have heard it has changed.

Oh... really a bad news.

Maybe I should start preparing Part I now.

Bad luck Nic. How much time left on the offer? Part I is quite extensive and you'll need to look at a wide variety resources.
Wish you luck.

24 days.

I hope I can handle it, as part I is overlapped with SCWCD, SCBCD, IBM 484 and IBM 486.

Nope, it hasn't - at least recently: Bought all three vouchers in one go last month.

Hi Hafer,

Really?

If so, I stop my preparation for the out-of-date SCEA part I until the new beta exam comes out.

Thanks for your info!!!

Nick,
You may still have to sit part I first. Best to check.

Nick, you should probably double-check: For me it worked a month ago. For what its worth, I'm sitting in Europe.

HTH,

I don't get it. A whale wearing overalls? How does that even work? It's like a tiny ad wearing overalls.
