where to go ?

hi all,
i want to ask for your advice,
I'd taked the SCBCD last month by 92 % , now i'm SCJP and SCBCD,
so now i'm thinking of SCEA but i think first i can pursue SCWCD - to acquire knowledge in UI layer- then I can go for SCEA for more logical view,
but i want to ask you about IBM OO analysis cert. -i guess there are many here who had this cert.- what is the diff between it and SCEA and what do you think which is better for me now - as i don't want to be vendor dependent - ,

Hi Sameh,
My view is the same as yours - its better to take SCWCD before SCEA in order to improve your knowledge of the web tier.

The IBM 486 OO exam concentrates on learning about OO analysis & design and UML, not architecture. Again, I feel its better to take this before SCEA, even though I found this to be a fairly tough exam.

I'm a firm believer in doing things in the right order. My main goal is to learn rather than just pass an exam.

Hi Sameh and Ramon,

I did IBM 486 in march, as Ray said, it is focused in OO and UML analysis and design, I'm starting study for SCEA and i think that the knowledge gained in IBM 486 was very valuable until now.
