I have had the worst possible experience with prometric today.
Went to give the test started the test finished the first qn and the damn machine crashes. The center again starts another test for me and this tiem I finish the test adn then the machine crashes when I say end test. The prometric person tells me that since the report has been printed my answers should have been registered with the system.Really irritated. The problem is if I fail it could very well be coz the answers from part 3 havent been registered.I don't know what to do ......

HI,

it seems Prometric is a really lousy company.
I had several problems with them and their test-engines too.
I wish Sun would change to a different provider!
Hello Sun, did you hear that....!!!

David,
The strange part is when all this happened the concerned person at the centre where I gave the test was telling me that they were having quite a large number of problems with the prometric test and that PRmotric were in the process of upgrading their software and also that they are going to have a big blackout to upgrade their servers.
But in the past I have given quite a number of prometric exams and I have never seen or heard of such problems!

Sounds unusual, actually. I've had problems on and off with Prometric's system, but only when they've been trying something new, or the center is using extremely old machines. (The center were I took the SCBCD test is a prime example, machines not prepared for drag-and-drops.)

But I've found that Prometric is, by and large, fairly good. My concerns over the Part III are why I saved every two to three minutes on each question...

This is in louisville, when i was writing my test all the machines shut down! the lady at the center went so far as blaming me that may be i hit the wires that were a mile away from legs. Luckily the test started at where i left of but i did not verify if the questions i answered were taken care of!!! the shut down happened twice!

I hope prometric and sun are listening.
