Hello,
Any idea about the best open source tools available for construction of Sequence Diagrams and Class Diagrams.Is ArgoUML a good tool?
Pls advise.

ArgoUML/Poseidon was a fairly good tool when I was working. I also used JUDE Community Edition, which I found to be reasonably easy to use.

Also try googling JUDE it's lightweight and easy to use.
