Hi all,

Finally, I cleared all the 3 SCEA exams. They took almost 3 months to get back to me with my assignment grades. Here they are:

Class Diagram (44 maximum) .......................... 35

Component Diagram (44 maximum) ...................... 25

Sequence/Colloboration Diagrams (12 maximum) ........ 10

Apparently I lost a lot of marks in the component diagrams. I had only one component diagram with all the EJBs and JSPs... connected together with the controller servlets.

Thanks to everyone on the forum for helping out... this forum rocks! Its the best and most up-to-date source for SCEA preparation...

Thanks again... cheers and good luck to everyone!

Thanks to everyone for all the wishes and help I've got around here. This forum absolutely rocks when it comes to activity and discussions abt the important stuff.

For those of you who are wondering why I lost marks in component diagrams. I think it was bcoz of lack of clarity. I had only one component diagram, but I bundled components inside 'package'. So I had three packages 'Model', 'View' and 'Controller'... and I had the usual components (EJBs, JSPs and Servlets/Actions respectively). So now, was it a package diagram or a component diagram. Well, I used it to logically group them and indicate some kinda 'layer' concept. Didn't work very well for the examiner...

Also, in hindsight, struts' actions probably don't belong in the component diagram. So there you go, all the very best to everyone.

BTW, gotta tell ya, the certified logo I got from Sun is very very nice. Not to mention the visiting card type thing they give and the cufflings (not sure I got the spelling right)... very good motivation.

Congreatulation !!!.

In relation to component diagram,
1 you mentioned only packages on component diagram?
2 Have you not shown domain comoponent as part of domain model in component diagram?
