Hi all,

I have attended the exam today. Some input I have gathered from the questions are:

1. Scalability - Given a system already in production, how do you measure the scalability? Already running systems in production require you to identify the scalability related issues and how would you, as an architect, suggest a solution

2. System Design - Given a scenario, how would you approach designing a system

Good number of questions were from the above two topics. I never knew the above two would be that important. For those who going to attend the exam, dont worry about this. Because, it's more about your way of thinking- how you, as an architect, would decide the best choice; that's all. So it doesn't require any special reading !

3. Security
around 10-15 questions on this topic

4. JSF/JSP
lot of questions try spending little more time on this.

The rest, as usual. My advise would be feel cooool !

Rgds/Nagu.

Why do you think there are so many questions on JSF? It is only briefly mentioned in the objectives. How technical were the JSF questions? Were they architectural questions or implementation questions?

Objectives of the exam say that "Explain standard uses for JSF technology in a typical Java EE application".

Were the questions based on this objective or are there questions based on other aspects of JSF ?

JSF questions were all implementation related and not architectural, ie, given a situation how do you decide to choose among JSF or custom tags.

Were there any direct questions on design patterns ?

Thanks
