Please note that anyone doing the assignment has agreed to Sun's confidentiality clauses. I believe that the questions in this post gave away too much information on what is in the new assignment. In addition, the JavaRanch SCEA FAQ is explicit in that only questions relating to domain model or terms are allowed - your questions would also have fallen outside of this scope.

A general comment to everyone working on the beta:

Normally there is some discussion in these forums, trying to understand the domain model or terms used.

However since this is a beta exam, I think there is an opportunity for Sun to learn where people have trouble understanding the domain and terms, and adjusting accordingly.

But Sun will only get this valuable information if we honor the confidentiality agreement and do not discuss the beta assignment.

JavaRanch has also been contacted by Sun and asked to help with keeping the assignment confidential.

If you are doing the old exam, you may post questions that can help you with understanding the domain model and it's terms.

If you are doing the SCEA 5 Beta exam, you may not post any questions about it.
