comparing SCMAD to ASD and S60 certifications

i am new to J2ME and other mobile related technologies.

since i am a java developer, i would like to program for mobile applications using JAVA but while searching for a typical certification for the same, i came across many other competitive exams like

ASD - accredited symbian developer
S60 - a certification by NOKIA

now these exams are for the guys who know C++ (i am not sure of the S60 though)

could any one guide me as to how will the SCMAD exam help me in getting into
mobile application development using JAVA ?

I think the question's a little misplaced, since I hold (and, mind you, it's just my opinion) that certifications in general don't generally lead to getting into a field, but rather validating one's knowledge once one is in the field.

If you're asking how to get into Java ME programming, there are some pretty good books you could find with a search in this forum. (Personally, I'm a fan of Beginning J2ME from Apress (third edition is the newest version) but there's other books too.) If you're looking for where the market is with Java ME, that's a tougher question and based more on geography and handset use in your area...

okay let me make myself clear.

i would like to know that which certification would be better
1 SCMAD or
2 ASD / S 60

since i am currently not working in J2ME or any other mobile development technology, i think a certification will provide me a foothold in a mobile application development organization.
