Dear All,
I am a bit confused about the market value of the various certification available.
These days server vendors like weblogic and websphere are offering j2ee certification examinations.
I would like to start this thread to discuss the importance of SCBCD certification over the other j2ee certifications.
I am confused which certification will help me make more bucks and increase my market value ? Hope the same would be in them minds of many aspiring j2ee developers.
Hoping that this thread will finally help me and many of us to make up our minds on which certification to take up.
Thanks and lets start debating !

We cannot think of the market values of each of them... Instead this is totally based on the individual's perception as well... There are companies, which pay attention to certificate-holders, while there are many, which don't even know if there are such certs...
It also depends on cert aspirant as well that you are enjoying having lots of certs... Some are enjoying listing a lot of certs in your signature looks impressive... but some think that it's radiculous...
We cannot still measure which certs are better than which ones... In general, IBM and BEA provide vendor-specific certs, while Sun provides vendor-independent certs... People usually do vendor-independent certs, then go for vendor-specific ones... That's just majority...
Hope it helps in answering your question...
