I think a couple of JavaRanch's moderators wrote some sort of book on EJB certification. Leg First EJB? No -- Neck First EJB. Wait -- let me check the link at the top of SCBCD forum. Ah, there it is: Head First EJB. (Great book by the way -- cute beans.)
