Hi ,

Im following Head First EJB for my preparations. For my programming practices, what shall i do, i mean shall i use JBoss or Sun's Application Server for J2EE1.3

which server is better for exam preparation? i know that exam isnt server specific but im asking for ease of use, and shall i code everything myself or shall i use tools like eclipse n its plugins like lomboz.

Thanks

it depends where you will get the codes that you will run. usually the book will say which software it uses to teach you.

but if you will create code yourself,...

for me, i used the j2ee ri. it was easy to use.

The download link is on this page
Java 2 Platform, Enterprise Edition (J2EE) - Version 1.3.1 Release
Look for the Download icon under Download the Software for the Java 2 SDK, Enterprise Edition 1.3.1.

There is no need for another application server for the 310-090 preparation; J2EE 1.3 RI is it.

Don't forget to grab the EJB 2.0 Spec.
