Do we have transaction in entity. If we do, do we have to finish the transaction before the method ends?
-Thanks

Entity beans represent database records, so you can imagine that they need to know whether they use a transaction or not. If they aquire a new transaction, the transaction will end when the method is over.

entity beans only allow CMT, which mandates to end a transaction with the method. You don't have choices here.
