Hello Ranchers

I have done SCJP 1.4 SCWCD 1.4.
For next certification, I am little bit confused about certification sequence.
Which should I go first SCBCD / SCDJWS?
I have little knowledge about both EJB & web services.
Although I want to do both SCBCD & SCDJWS in near future.

well I can suggest you this sequence: first take SCBCD 5 not only for certification but to have really good grasp of EJB 3.0 and then after clearing SCBCD 5 go for SCDJWS for greater understanding of web services.

Well, the order is completely free, the exams are not linked.
I think SCBCD first is the best choice.
SCDJWS is one of the toughest exams out there.
Having SCBCD will help you... a little... There is a little bit of overlap.

Hi Abhijit,

If you have not started preparing for scbcd. There is and will more demand for scdjws certified people which is used in service-oriented architecture. This certification is for the long run and keep you marketable. This is what I have noticed. I have been preparing for it.

Thanks,

There is no sequence. Both the exams are completely different scope. I'd better say take up an exam which suits your current job role.
