Hi Guys,
Just cleared the SCWCD Exam half an hour back.
Though not satisfied,had expected more before going for exams.
But One thing is far from being clear is that Exam is not that easy.I got lotta code samples...about 20 25 lines of code and some tricky multiple choice questions.
Regarding patterns...there were some questions which were out of objectives...I dunno why Sun has done this...they should mention a change in the objectives..
Referred miftah khan,ken notes...very good ones...but they are not enough (enough to pass or scrape through) but I personally feel one needs to have good knowledge of programming little bit and also be thorough with Servlet Container part..I just secured 20% in it...and there were some very tricky and unknown questions in custom tag library...probably I couldnt work much with custom tag library thats why I didnt fare well.
Scored 100% in Deployment Descriptor...
Scored 100% in Servor side expectations...
Scored 100% in Reusable components...
75% each in patterns,custom tag library,secure web applications,jsp model...
anyways though glad to clear but not satisfied....the exam is worth giving it...its a nonsense that anyone just reading book can clear the exam...
About SCWCD@whiz...though it gave me a good practice..that was just 50% closer to exam...probably within a month or so I would do something for u all and make sure everyone out here understands the format of exam..which I found different to some extent as compared to the one specified by some people out here...
anyways I thank God and Javaranch,miftah khan,Ken and Pradeep..for I wouldnt have been a SCWCD without u all....

Could you tell us what they were about? Were they questions about other patterns, or questions that weren't in the form described in the objectives?
