So far we've been posting SCWCD exam results in this forum, even though Sun Certification Results is formally our results forum. Hey, when you've done all your studying in a community like this one, of course you want to announce your success here
Unfortunately, we're all getting a bit too successful now and sometimes the questions are drowned in a flood of exam results. In a forum intended for questions and discussions about Java web development nitty gritty, that's not good
Carl and I suggest that we start moving the announcements to the Results forum. It's not as nice in some ways, but it gives the discussions some necessary breathing space.
Any opinions?

Peter, I wholeheartedly agree. There is a sentence right above the main listing to the forum as well, but that's mostly ignored. This forum, *as titled*, should be devoted to the SCWCD study topics only. When I was studying for SCJP2, all result announcements were immediately moved, so I suppose some consistency should be enforced.

Ideally there could be a results forum for each certification exam.
Greenhorns like myself  scour the results forum for warnings, tips, and well ... hope and encouragement. It would be more efficient if we just had one source for finding the info for the tests we are specifically working on now.
Or maybe one forum just for Programmer Exam results and then another results forum for everything other exam.
Thanks for asking.

Ideally... people would post their exam results with descriptive titles like:
Passed SCPJ2 94%
Passed SCWD 84%
etc.
I think it would be overkill to have an individual forum for EACH type of exam results -- but you can check out our handy-dandy search feature to help you find the information you're lookinf for also check out the SCWCD FAQ it might have some helpful info.

I totally agree with you Jeff. That's the reason I posted my results here as well. Also, I liked reading the results in this forum because it gave me an idea of what I needed to study and how other folks passed the exam. If I had to remember to look in another forum that was mixed with other exam results I am not sure I'd read every thread. Of course, Jessica's point is a good one. If we did indeed want to move results to the other forum I suppose we could lasso anyone that doesn't put a descriptive title for the exam results (i.e. "Passed Today" as opposed to "Passed SCWCD Exam Today")...
