Cleared SCWCD with a surprisingly good score of 96% . Got two questions wrong, both related to developing customn tags.
JWebPlus and the Hanumant Deshmukh (Manning) guide was what i used most (Jai Hanuman !). The Quick Exam Prep section in the book is particularly good.
As for my suggestions to those who intend to appear for the exam soon:
1) Do not go for it until you are well versed in custom tags. Both using and developing them. There were tons of Qs on them and the difficulty level was also higher than for other topics.
2) U need not use the JSP and servlet specs. The exam guides around should serve the purpose, i hardly spent any time going thru the specs.
>>>Some advice i require: What is the logical progression after clearing the SCWCD? SCEA or any other cert that javaranchers would recommend?

Congrats Harshad ,
Great score.
Well next step depends on your perception.I also just passed SCWCD and now planning SCEA as this seems to be the best choice in server side technologies.

Congrats Harshad ,
excellent score.
as for the next step, it really depends upon where you are working( on which platform). where is your interest lies?. marketability of your skills etc.
I will sugest have a think of XML as well. you can choose to go for UML cert from IBM. obviously SCEA is one choice . It really depends on your cercumstences.
After SCJP i have done XML cert and now I am going now for SCWCD.

Thanks guys. I think i will also go along the SCEA path from here on.
Also missed out on reporting one thing: Before the exam, i had to fill up a rather annoying 9 questions and 15 minute survey.
I think Sun should realise that filling up surveys, when u have butterflies in your stomach, isn't exactly easy
