Should I wait for 1.4?

Would it be better to wait for SCWCD 1.4 test than sit for current version? Im ready to sit right now.

Hi Stephen,
If you are already ready for the exam, I guess it is better for you to take it now, as the new exam will be available to public after Mar 2004.
In addition, since the topics covered for both exams are quite different, and up till now, there is no books available for the new exam (Kathy's HF SCWCD will be available around Mar 2004), if you want to study for the new exam, the only resource is the JSP and Servlet Spec.
So, you may need to think carefully on which option you go for.

I also agree with Nicholas Cheung. If you are ready for the exam, then just go ahead for the current version... Even though the new version is coming in March, the contents in the exam will take pretty long to be used in the industry...
I believe that the certified professionals on the current version will be able to catch up the technologies later... I think it's not a big deal...
Just a suggestion...
