Hi all,

I am preparing for SCWCD 1.4 exam.As there is no book available for SCWCD 1.4 , I am going to read Sun Certification Training Guide (310-080): Java 2 Enterprise Edition (J2EE) Web Component Developer By Alain Trottier.

Can anybody tell me which topic I need to skip when I am preparing for SCWCD 1.4 with the book. As an example for SCJP1.4 we can still prepare by exculding AWT and IO topics with old version books . Like that If I start preparing with any SCWCD 1.3 book which topics I need to exclude ?.

And one more question ,does SCWCD 1.4 covers interanationlization also?.

Thanks
Raju

U can't exclude the topics from SCWCD 1.3... But u do need to know about JSP 2.0, then JSP part of the book might be not that useful for SCWCD 1.4...

For internationalisation, u do not need to know them for the exam...

For SCWCD 1.4, if you start prepare it with SCWCD 1.3, you cannot skip any of the topics, instead, there are newly topics added to SCWCD 1.4.

Thus, you, in fact, need to read all of them plus those newly added JSP topics, like Expression Language, Simple Tag, Tag files, and JSTL.
