Are the valid body-content - values [empty, JSP, Scriptless, ???] the same for both simpleTag and ClassicTag ?

"JSP" is not a valid option for SimpleTags.

1) I've read that, behind the hood, Tagfiles and simpletag are the same. Is that right ?

2) The fact, that "JSP" isn't a valid body-content value. Is that mentioned in HF ? - if yes, where - I can't find it !

It doesn't explicitly say you can't use JSP on this page, but it does implicitly...
It says you can have scriptless (default) or one of the other two options: empty, tagdependent.
