Hi,

I completed SCJP1.4 last week. Now I want to start preparing for SCWCD. I am an experienced programmer (3+) in Java/JSP/Servlets. Could anyone please suggest me which book I should prepare with? Another constraint is that I want to read only one book. So please suggest me the "best" book. Of course I would be doing lots & lots of mock exams after completing the book and will be participating the ranch forum atively. But I dont want to read more than one book. I am too lazy while reading books

I referred the link http://www.javaranch.com/bunkhouse/Certification.jsp also, but I am getting confused.

Right now I have "Head First Servlets & JSP" - Bryan Basham, K&B, is this book good enough to achive a score in SCWCD more than 90% ?

Please help! Appreciate very much your responses.

THANKS!

Anand

I've got the book. I've also got the Manning book SCWCD exam study kit (what a headache!!!) The head first book seems good enough to me but I'm a beginner with JSP/servlets. I've been reading it for almost a week and almost feel ready to front the exam. I don't think I'll get more than 90% though.

As far as I'm aware the book seems to cover all of the objectives thouroughly. As for getting 90% on the exam I would say that that was more down to you than the book amigo. But I'm sure that if you know everything in the book getting 90% would definitely be feasible.

Hi,

Do you happen to know if there's electronic version of this book somewhere you can get/ask for?
I've ordered the book, but as far as I know it doesn't come with a cdrom.

Cheers,
Marin
